Dear Patients

ON LINE SERVICES

On Tuesday 1 May The Westwood Surgery will be changing to a new computer system called EMIS. EMIS is the largest provider of GP computer systems in the country and this change should greatly improve our practice efficiency.

EMIS also provides on line access to prescriptions, appointments  and records via 'Patient Access'. To facilitate this change in system on Friday 13 April the current Online Services will need to be suspended from 6.30pm.

All current on line users will need to register with Emis Patient Access, and the Practice will provide information on how to do this via email in the next few weeks.  You will be able to register for the new online service from the Tuesday 8 May.

During this time you can request repeat medication as follows

1.   In writing to the Practice

2.   Ask your Pharmacy to Order for you

3.   Email your request direct to a dedicated email address ( for medication requests only) pxs.westwoodsurgery@nhs.net

The Practice apologises for any inconvenience caused, and ask our patients to bear with us at this time, as we move to a faster, better and more efficient computerised clinical system.
